CBD Conditions - Addiction
Addiction directly affects roughly 25 million Americans and indirectly affects an additional 40 million (1). About 16 million Americans suffer from alcoholism and 21.6 million are addicted to drugs. The current opioid crisis affects 1.7 million people in the United States. Between 21 and 29% of patients prescribed opioids for chronic pain misuse them. Addiction is a disease that can be indicative of further mental health conditions. Treatments can include support networks, detoxes, and residential treatments.
